We are searching for an IAM Cyber Security Architect to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within the organization. You will ensure secure access to systems and data while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including IT, HR, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration and management of IAM processes.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience

It would be great if you also have…

  •  Strong understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.
  •  Experience with IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, Microsoft Azure AD).
  •  Experience in Public Cloud IAM Systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  •  Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
  •  Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  •  Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

What will you be doing in this role?  

  • Develop and implement IAM strategies and solutions to support organizational security objectives.
  •  Design, deploy, and manage IAM systems, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
  •  Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
  •  Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  •  Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  •  Provide technical expertise and guidance on IAM related projects and initiatives.
  •  Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
  •  Monitor and analyze IAM systems' performance, ensuring optimal operation and availability.
  •  Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and threats in the IAM space.

About the Team  

We are a team of 33 security professionals from various walks of life with diverse experience. We are spread out across the world with team members located in North America, Europe, and Asia. We support our organization’s internal teams and customer relations activities. The manager for this role is in North America. As a security team, our focus lies in four main areas (pillars) – Security Engineering and Operations, Product security, Security Architecture, and Governance Risk and Compliance. Our Security Architecture pillar provides the shared services of trusted design partners and advisory services to corporate and business led initiatives, including security solutions to enable all manner of practices, integrations and innovations across our entire enterprise

  • Fulltime 
  • Hybrid working model (office and home based)
