Job Description:

  • Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to create comprehensive cybersecurity policies and guidelines that align with federal regulations, security standards, and best practices.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Conducting research and synthesizing information from various sources and preparing detailed reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Ensuring policies are comprehensive, clear, and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to discussions and planning sessions
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently with a strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. This includes setting goals, timelines, and tracking progress.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience in drafting senior-level correspondence, including program briefings, congressional reports, or senior-level talking points.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policy analysis, development, and coordination.
  • Ability to independently analyze complex policy issues.
  • Top Secret SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Acquisition Pathways.
  • Experience with supporting cybersecurity assessments or cyber-risk management initiatives, including proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Experience working in a team environment, fostering collaboration, and achieving collective goals.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity challenges in the Department of Defense.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Hardening and Cyber mitigations.
  • Ability to effectively support multiple working groups and engage both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating productive communication and collaboration.
  • Ability to effectively manage, execute, and track assigned tasks to meet required deadlines, while proficiently performing administrative duties as directed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT.
