Reporting to the CFO, the WGS Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for the design and execution of the overall IT program (Governance,  Operations,  Risk Management, and Support), as well as Cybersecurity and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Programs.  With regard to Cybersecurity, the role is responsible for the security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and threat hunting programs within Westinghouse Government Services.  The role is also responsible for development and direct management of information security staff responsible for all aspects of Information Technology within Westinghouse Government Services.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed, procured, installed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of WGS IT Architecture.
  • Champions and responsible for company level technology and architectural standards, guidelines, policies, frameworks, and reference models.
  • Coordinates all company-level IT architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application/software architecture, technical architecture).
  • Provide support for daily IT requests including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of for the WGS IT end users.
  • Coordination of incident remediation activities to ensure compliance with WGS policies and security and nuclear industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain the process for capturing, assessing, decisioning, and reporting risks across the IT organization, both internally as well as coordinating with the overarching Westinghouse protocols.
  • Develop a framework for performing and overseeing the performance of IT risk assessments in accordance with established company risk management policies for projects and of suppliers / vendors
  • Create and maintain the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans for IT services.
  • Identify, recruit, train, mentor, and develop direct report IT staff.

Develop framework for performing technical vulnerability and penetration assessments to ensure Westinghouse is properly protected and able to respond to cybersecurity attacks and threats

Develop and maintain Key Risk Indicators, including metrics and reporting to enable measurement of risk and threats to Westinghouse

Coordinate and act as the primary point of contact for IT audit and assessment activities internal and external.

Coordinate with Security to develop and maintain a Security Awareness Program that keeps materials and training relevant to the organization in order to reduce information security risk across Westinghouse Government Services.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 7+ Years of information technology, security, governance, risk and compliance, IT Audit, or related work experience.
  • Professional certifications, such as CISA, CSAM, CISM CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, or other applicable information security credentials is preferred.
