Job Responsibilities

  • Direct effective responses to emergency and non-emergency incidents.
  • Receive, evaluate incoming information, disseminate, and recommend responses for potential and actual threats to the enterprise.
  • Analyze data to help mitigate threats and escalate and report by delivering correct, complete, and concise communication through diverse modes.
  • Participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain and improve understanding and skills for all SOC tools and resources

Job Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 1 year - Experience in Corporate Security environment or a history of emergency responses, analysis, and application of data/information for the development of effective responses. Delivering emergency and non-emergency responses in public safety or private environments.

Skills\Certifications

  • Knowledge of applicable Information Security regulations including HIPAA, CMS, PCI, MAR
  • Extensive knowledge of ASIS International, OSHA/TOSHA regulations, current life safety codes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR/AED Certifications at hire, or obtained within 6 months of accepting the job offer

Security and operations center experience is preferred

Ideal candidate would be eligible to obtain an unarmed carry permit

Employees who are required to operate either a BCBST-owned vehicle or a personal or rental vehicle for company business on a routine basis* will be automatically enrolled into the BCBST Driver Safety Program.   The employee will also be required to adhere to the guidelines set forth through the program.  This includes, maintaining a valid driver’s license, auto insurance compliance with minimum liability requirements; as defined in the “Use of Non BCBST-Owned Vehicle” Policy (for employees driving personal or rental vehicles only); and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR). *The definition for "routine basis" is defined as daily, weekly or at regularly schedule times.
