We are seeking a highly skilled and expert SSO and Entra ID Engineer. The SME will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the organization's SSO and Microsoft Entra ID infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of identity and access management, authentication protocols, and cloud security principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively review and handle monitoring systems, addressing alerts and revising thresholds to ensure infrastructure stability.
  • Prioritize and address support requests, projects, and other tasks in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Assist projects and tasks vital to assess, optimize, handle, and maintain enterprise and client systems and infrastructure related to SSO, ADFS and Entra ID/Azure AD.
  • Provide hands-on experience in solve, problem and organizational change related to SSO, ADFS and Entra ID.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve system efficiency and security.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in SSO, ADFS and Entra ID technologies.
  • Experience in transformation of manual processes and conversion to automated solutions. Knowledge of Automation and scripting using a variety of automation tooling.
  • Experience with running PowerShell commands and creation of PowerShell scripts in a Single Sign on environment.
  • Involved in Major Incident Management processes including preparing Root Cause Analysis and implementing Post Incident Recommendations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation. Present new insights and concepts to the team.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis, standard methodology solve techniques and processes, and procedures as defined by hardware/software vendors and personal experience.
  • Ensure all support requests, projects and other tasks are reviewed, prioritized, addressed, and completed in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Identify, document, publish and uphold systems policies, strategies, standards, procedures, checklists, agreements, diagrams, inventory, etc.
  • Working within a distributed team of expert supporting a single sign-on environment
  • Azure Authentication and SSO: They proactively review and manage monitoring systems, addressing alerts and revising thresholds to ensure infrastructure stability. They also prioritize and address support requests, projects, and other tasks related to SSO, ADFS, and Entra ID/Azure AD
  • Solve and Change Managemnt: They provide hands-on experience in solving problem, and change management related to SSO, ADFS, and Entra ID. They identify and implement process improvements to improve system efficiency and security
  • Permission Management: They handle permissions based on historical usage and activities, allowing temporary access to high-risk permissions on-demand, and continuously supervise and right-size identities to prevent privilege creep
  • Monitoring and Threat Assessment: They get granular access to every action performed by every identity on every resource and assess permission risk. They also prevent data breaches caused by misuse and malicious exploitation of permissions with anomaly and outlier detection
  • Teamwork and Coordination: They work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with security guidelines and coordinate pen testing and audit processes.
