The Opportunity

"Join our cybersecurity team where you’ll be responsible for detecting and responding to potential security incidents. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools like SIEM and XSOAR, analyze network traffic, and coordinate with internal and external teams to address cybersecurity threats. You’ll be at the forefront of defending our infrastructure and creating security use-cases to tackle emerging threats." – Director, Cyber Security.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Investigate and respond to intrusion events and incidents using SIEM, XSOAR, file analysis, and endpoint logs.
  • Support security incident response processes, including tracking, discovery, and mitigation workflows.
  • Analyze security logs, network traffic, and endpoint data to identify potential security incidents.
  • Collaborate with external teams for the resolution and closure of alerts and incidents.
  • Research and evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and develop detection use-cases for them.
  • Monitor for unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity, such as attacks and intrusions.
  • Test, evaluate, and fine-tune security use-cases for better threat detection.
  • Utilize analytic tools to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to address cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Apply knowledge of cloud computing concepts with experience in one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.

What We’re Seeking

  • 2+ years of experience in a SOC analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis for alerts and incidents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
