Given our rapid expansion, we are seeking an RMO Director to lead and elevate our resourcing strategy at Bishop Fox. You’ll optimize resource allocation, manage key vendor relationships, and ensure operational excellence across our growing organization. Who You Are and What You Will Do

We're seeking an RMO Director to lead strategic resourcing efforts within our Professional Services organization. You'll optimize resource allocation, supporting project delivery objectives. With strong operational and leadership skills, you will ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet business goals. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive resource plan aligned with business goals, optimizing utilization by balancing workload and skill sets.
  • Implement forecasting models and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate resource availability and project success.
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives by streamlining daily operations, enhancing workflow efficiency, and utilizing data analytics to optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate resource-related risks, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure resource effectiveness, conducting performance reviews and driving process improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to enhance cost-effectiveness and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing resourcing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities to foster growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in resource management or a similar role within a professional services organization.
  • Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
  • A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Professional certification in resource management (RMCP) or project management (PMP).
  • Experience utilizing resource management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze resource-related costs and budgets.
  • Experience in managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
