We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on providing guidance and support to our Portfolio Companies regarding secure business processes, architecture design, and technical controls. The ideal candidate will conduct regular vulnerability assessments, review internal applications for cybersecurity risks, and assist in updating IT and Cybersecurity policies.

Key Responsibilities

    • Security Awareness and Guidance: Provide ongoing awareness and support to Portfolio Companies on secure business practices, architecture design, and technical controls.
    • Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments for Portfolio Companies, analyze findings, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
    • Risk Review: Review internal applications and new software deployments for potential cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with security standards.
    • Policy Development: Assist in the annual review and update of IT and Cybersecurity policies, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum experience required is 5+ years. Previous experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks, particularly NIST.
  • Experience with cybersecurity controls and features related to Azure, Office 365, and Exchange.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting cybersecurity assessments and creating comprehensive reports.
  • Enthusiasm for Cybersecurity and a commitment to ongoing self-learning and professional development in the field.
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to lead cybersecurity projects and assessments through the entire assessment cycle, from planning to execution and reporting.
