Information Security Senior Analyst

Position Summary

The Microsoft 365 Security Specialist’s main responsibility is to design, implement and support various types of Microsoft 365 hosted application services which enable collaboration, security, mobility, and analytics for the organization and about 23,000+ associates globally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the operational health of the M365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
• Administer and support Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online, Entra (Azure AD), Teams, OneDrive for business, and other M365 centers
• Apply best practices of email security including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, etc.
• Troubleshoot various Microsoft 365 issues including connectivity and mobility 
• Update ticket technical details, document new processes, create guidelines for new solutions, update documentation
• Maintains knowledge of assets and coordinates changes as required
• Creates all required technical documentation in accordance with company change control and project management processes and procedures
• Troubleshoot issues interfacing other teams including the Global Service Desk and the Network Operations Center
• Provides after hours on-call support in case of issues escalations.
• Will take ownership of projects as assigned by manager relating to upgrades, migrations and enhancements.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technically related field of study or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience in administration of other enterprise tools and products such as ServiceNow, Power Automate, Stream, Power BI, Intune, Google Chronicle (or similar SIEM), etc.
• Extensive experience with audit log reviews and interpretation, investigations, modern authentication, conditional access policies and other identity best practices
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or Microsoft Graph API
• Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills
• Apply sound IT processes, with a focus on security and best practices
• Provide remote technical support
• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, especially Defender for Office, Exchange Online, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Cloud security and best practices, including principles of zero-trust, least privilege access, and others
• Familiarity with Windows PowerShell for task automation and configuration (Graph API is a plus)
• Critical thinking skills, accountability and taking ownership of issues and projects
• Excellent English communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to work both independently and in a group
• Use of Microsoft Office products to create and maintain documentation
