  • MBL Technologies is seeking a Business Continuity Planner to join our team immediately. This position is onsite five days a week in the Washington, DC metro area.

MBL Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security & Privacy Specialist to join our team. The Specialist will be responsible for the monitoring and follow-through of assessing the privacy and security compliance of programs and systems. The Specialist will utilize monitoring and compliance tools to ensure that systems have effectively implemented requirements in alignment with agency and federal safeguards.


The Specialist will be responsible for generating weekly progress reports, tracking of tasking, and quarterly metrics. The Specialist will be responsible for identifying trends in compliance, risks, and emerging technologies.


The Specialist will manage a team and/or workstream of colleagues to develop deliverables of high quality that meet the set schedules and targets.


Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Understand the landscape of cyber security and privacy requirements for federal agencies. 
  • Knowledge of the evolving landscape of technology and emerging security and privacy risks.
  • Support the analysis, implementation, and tracking of compliance reviews.
  • Draft and prepare written response to data calls and draft reports for leadership.
  • Monitor, prioritize and ensure the accuracy of reporting data; communicate discrepancies to stakeholders. 
  • 5 years of experience supporting organizations in project support and/or compliance, data protection, and/or privacy.
  • Experience working with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
  •  Experience with tracking tools, developing metrics, and utilizing agency- or division-level online compliance reporting or monitoring systems. 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills required with ability to maintain open lines of communication across departments 
  • Proven skills in learning new software.
  • Possess a "can-do" attitude, and be committed to working in a fast-paced innovative, and collaborative team environment.
  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
