At our organization we have a new exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Specialist. If you have what it takes to design, build and then nurture what you’ve created, it is the time and the team for you.
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our cybersecurity team, helping to protect our digital assets from various threats. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
You will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of cybersecurity functions, including email protection, e-commerce security, incident handling, workstation security and many more.
We are dedicated to safeguarding our digital infrastructure and ensuring our customers' online safety. Located in the vibrant city of Gdańsk, our office is easily accessible, making it convenient for commuting.
Main Responsibilities:Email Security: Monitor email protection systems to prevent phishing, spam, and other email-based threats.
Incident Response: Identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, working to mitigate any potential impacts.
Workstation Security: Help maintain and enhance the security of company workstations by detecting and mitigating cyber threats.
Security Monitoring: Regularly monitor security logs and alerts to detect suspicious activities, escalating issues as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of incidents, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions. Prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
Certificate issuing: Maintain accurate records of certificate requests, issuance, and renewal processes
Qualifications & skills:
A keen interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn and develop.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Familiarity with common security tools and software (e.g., antivirus, firewalls).
Accountable, proactive and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Driven by curiosity and “what if” mindset, ready for developing new skills when required.
Ability to work effectively and proactively as part of a team.
Patience.
