The Allianz SE Information Security (IS) Function ensures that information security risks that may impact the successful delivery of Allianz business objectives are identified and properly addressed. It ensures that Allianz information is adequately protected by preventing cyber and social engineering attacks, in line with internal and external, legal and regulatory requirements. 

 

According to Allianz Risk Barometer, Cyber Risk hits the top spot in this year’s survey for the second year in succession – the first time this has occurred -, ranking as the most important risk globally. ​Prime threats consists of ransomware, malware, social engineering threats, threats against data, threats against availability, disinformation – misinformation and supply-chain attacks.

 

The Allianz SE Capability Expert Information Security is part of Allianz SE IS Function headed by Allianz SE Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

 

How can you make an impact?

 

The responsibilities of the Allianz SE Capability Expert Information Security are based on seven capabilities: Strategy & Reporting, Policy Management, Steering, IS Risk Management, Project Portfolio Management, Independent Control Assurance, Awareness & Training.

 

You will:

• Create a Risk Culture for Information Risks and support the Business Owners to identify, assess, monitor and steer these risks – as a cross-functional activity this will be jointly done in close cooperation with the IT Function and Data Privacy.
• Support Project Managers and Business Owners to ensures security by design. Evaluate Information Risks and define mitigating activities to close control weaknesses; identify and escalate systemic control shortcoming to Group IS Function and service provider(s).
• Ensure compliance to GISF (Group Information Security Framework) and local regulatory requirements for Allianz SE, organize and steer local security processes and policies

 

What are you made of?

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Information Systems or related field is required
• Professional certifications in Information Security and Risk Management (e.g. ISO2700x, COBIT, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CRM), Process and Service Management (e.g. ITIL), as well as Project Management (e.g. PMI, PMP, Prince2) or similar
• Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools and related processes
• Fluent English (fluent German is an advantage)
• Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience in a combination of Information Security, Information Risk Management and Information Technology
• Understanding of international standards and best practices (ISO27001, ITIL, COBIT) and regulatory environment
• Experience in information security risk assessments (cloud/not-cloud)
• High quality analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High communication and collaboration capabilities
• Experiences in managing projects with multiple stakeholder
• High level of reliability, dedication and commitment
• Efficient time management skills, flexibility and ability to effectively manage various priorities
• Ability to establish relationships across all business and functional areas and act in a consultative manner to identify the security requirements applicable to each business area and to intertwine security needs with the goals and objectives of the organization
