The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a TOP SECRET/SCI Cleared Computer Security Systems Specialist - Senior local to Washington DC Metropolitan area. 

 We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Security Systems Specialist who will provide expert-level experience in determining and addressing computer security requirements for high-level applications. This role involves evaluating the capabilities of approved security products, developing solutions to multilevel security (MLS) problems, and ensuring systems are designed, developed, and implemented in compliance with security standards. The Specialist performs risk analysis, including risk assessments, and provides daily supervision and direction to a security team, ensuring all operations align with mission goals and organizational security needs.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of security products, risk management, and security compliance, particularly in the context of MLS requirements. The Senior Specialist will also gather technical information on security products and ongoing security programs to design solutions that meet the organization’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Requirements Analysis: Determine and define computer security requirements for high-level applications and assess security product capabilities.
• Multilevel Security (MLS) Solutions: Design, develop, and implement solutions to address MLS issues and security requirements.
• Technical Information Gathering: Collect and organize technical information on an organization's mission, goals, security products, and existing programs in the MLS field.
• Risk Analysis & Assessment: Perform comprehensive risk analysis, including assessments of security risks, and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
• Team Supervision & Leadership: Provide daily supervision and direction to the security team, ensuring alignment with security objectives and compliance with organizational policies.
• Security Product Evaluation: Evaluate the capabilities of approved security products to ensure they meet the security requirements of the organization.
• Compliance Management: Ensure all security solutions and implementations comply with government and industry security standards and regulations.

 Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. 
• Experience: 
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in computer security systems, particularly in solving multilevel security       (MLS) challenges.
• Certifications: Must possess one of the following certifications:
  • REQUIRED:
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Clearance: 

· Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
