Our Fort Wayne, Indiana location has an opening for a Principle Security Specialist . As a Principle Security Specialist you will be working closely with all levels of management as well as with our government customers by

developing, obtain approval for, and implementing security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc. You must have an in-depth understanding of a DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, NISPOM, ICD 705, and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.

What You Will Do

• Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
• Create, update and administer security education, training and awareness to include indoctrinations and debriefings.
• Conduct self-inspections and recommend / implement corrective actions.
• Program administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, program related investigations, TS accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material and resolving other related program security issues. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or similar curriculum and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs with strong demonstrated progression from follower to leader. 
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET clearance prior to start date, U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

Qualifications We Prefer 

• Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills 
• Working knowledge of ICD 705 
• Prior experience constructing SAPF’s
• Organized self-starter capable of identifying priorities and multi-tasking, willing to work extended hours and travel on company business 
• Experience in the Special Programs environment 
• Industrial Security certificates desired

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. 

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
