Your role

Site Security is one of the cornerstones for Security within Saab. Within Group Security the function supports the business by establishing the Site Security baseline.

As Site Security Manager the main responsibility is to develop, establish, implement and manage on-site Security operations. An addition to this you will support the Site Security function in adjacent tasks.

The world is changing rapidly and therefore we need to adapt and be proactive in our work to give the support to business as needed. Are you the one we are looking for?

You will report to Head of Site Security in close collaboration with Head of Physical Security.

The main tasks are:

• Enhance the on-site security operations within Saab Group.
• Develop, execute and manage an internal Site security On-Site operations training program. 
• Develop and maintain Site, context and risk adapted, Standard Operating Procedures.
• Governance, management and development within the framework of security providers agreements.
• Provide general support within the Site Security area.
• Cooperate closely with the security function at large as well as other relevant functions such as Group Property and our business operations.
• Represent Group Security in a number of operative forums at Saab.
• We are a global company, we work in an international context, which will require national and international travelling.

Your profile

We are looking for persons that has a high level of drive and autonomy and at the same time have a prestigeless mindset. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and by that condense it to your area of expertise. We do things together and with full transparency within our team/function. In addition to the previous you have excellent interpersonal skills and has an easy way of making contacts and to cooperate inside and outside the company. You take pride in your interest for the area of Site Security and you keep yourself informed about changes in legislation or requirements within your area of responsibility.

In your previous employments you have probably worked with Site Security operations, internal and external requirements/standards, developed standard operating procedures as well as planned and performed audits. You have extensive experience in developing, creating and executing training programs for a variety of receiving categories. You have the ability to receive a task/mission, identify the nice, the needs, affecting risks, present a plan and thereafter drive the task from ear to loaf.

Required skills:

• More than 10 years of work experience
• More than 5 years of experience working with Site Security
• Excellent communication skills in English verbal and written
• Trustworthy with high standards of ethics and personal integrity.
• Well established experience of establishing Standard Operating Procedure.

Desired skills:  

• Working experience as Site Security manager is highly desired
• Certification within the area of Site Security, CPP etc.  
• Facility management and Property
• Experience of working with Swedish as well as international site security standards and norms
• Experience of working with service providers in the security area
• High self-awareness especially regarding your personal strengths and weaknesses
• Analytical and structured
• Business and commercial understanding

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will join a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences. We work mainly within the areas of physical security, information security and personnel security, including travel security. You will have an arena to develop both the Site Security work and also be a vital part of the whole function. You will work closely with the Security teams all over Saab as well as many other functions including Group Property. The personnel at Group Security are working from mainly from Stockholm or Linköping and you will probably get the best possible work environment to do so as well.
