Responsibilities
You will have an opportunity to…
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of security initiatives to ensure the best possible measures are in place to maintain a secure operation.
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security strategies, policies and procedures.
- Analyze, recommend and implement security technologies such as firewalls, certificates and PKI.
- Plan, coordinate, implement, perform internal security audits.
- Utilize logging and diagnostic tools to discover, diagnose, and solve problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement and document security related remediation and enhancements.
- Analyze and monitor various environments for improved security, performance and user experience.
- Provide support during end-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units and vendors
- Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies with strong aptitude for innovation
- Work with the team and stakeholders to identify areas for automation, and develop tools and scripts to automate tasks.
- Monitor and optimize the automated processes to ensure they are running efficiently.
- Monitor and support of environments, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools
- Participate in Agile Scrum planning, estimation, and sprint execution.
- Create, validate, and execute unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Oracle, MS SQL.
- Embrace DevSecOps practices and take end-to-end accountability for developed features.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant experience and IT certifications
- 8+ years of Security experience
- 8+ years of experience in securing data and network infrastructure
- 5+ years of hands-on experience using security tools
- 5+ years of experience in security audit and compliance
- 5+ years of strong experience in vulnerability remediation and management
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and collaboration skills.
You will thrive in this role if you have...
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for Self-tracking and updates
- Experience in a Public Cloud, i.e. GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, and produce high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Linux and/or Security Certiification
