The role of Senior Platform Engineers is to Design, Build, Run & Evolve tools, infrastructure, templates and capabilities that our other engineers use to deliver business value, and to write code that automates running our infrastructure and environments. Collaboratively work with customer facing product engineers to design, build and run ‘platforms’ that they can use to deliver customer value at greater quality, velocity, and safety.  Help to make our platforms loved by our engineers!   We are keen hear from platform engineers who are passionate about infrastructure as code and software eating the world!

The successful applicant will join a team tasked to manage the Certificate Life Cycle Management for the bank. You will drive the automation and continuous improvement of the services through a DevOps model.

We’re interested in hearing from people who

• Extensive experience in Security with exposure to SSL/TLS and CA management and Certificate Life Cycle Management systems like Venafi.

• Have Banking or Large Enterprise PKI exposure.

• Are passionate about solving complex problems in a systematic approach.

• Have very good communication skills (verbal and written).

• Have a growth mindset and can drive continuous improvements.

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• Highly proficient in PKI and Certificate Life Cycle Management

• Experience with Venafi solutions and APIs (highly desirable)

• Experienced Integrating with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) (Thales, Gemalto, AWS CloudHSM desirable).

• Good system design/architecture knowledge

• Possesses hands-on technical experience in multi-cloud environments (on-prem/AWS/Azure).

• Strong understanding of API development and integrations

• Good knowledge of Windows Servers

• Proficient working with various scripting/programming languages such as; PowerShell and Python

• Confident working with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like; Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, ARM

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like; Jenkins, Octopus, TeamCity, Artifactory, CodePipeline

• Experienced with version control systems like; GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab

• CISSP Certification (desirable)

• Cloud Certification (desirable)
