Are you a Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist with a passion for workplace mental health? TELUS Health is expanding our Critical Incidents (CI) affiliate network across Ontario. This unique contract position offers you the opportunity to make a profound impact on employee well-being while maintaining flexibility in your career.
The impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together
As a key member of our Critical Incidents network, you'll play a vital role in trauma response and crisis management across Ontario. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing rapid on-site support, conducting debriefings, offering psychological first aid, and guiding post-incident recovery. Together, we'll deliver professional crisis intervention services, enhance organizational preparedness, and improve mental health in the workplace.
Here's How
Deliver on-site Critical Incident Response (CIR) promptly and professionally, tailored to each critical incident and organizational culture
Conduct individual and group crisis interventions, debriefings, and defusing sessions
Provide immediate psychological first aid to affected employees
Offer expert consultations to corporate clients on crisis management
Guide organizations through post-incident recovery processes
Document all services accurately according to TELUS Health standards
Collaborate with external stakeholders and affiliated professionals serving as a corporate ambassador for TELUS Health.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
Active membership with a professional college in Ontario and valid professional liability insurance.
Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate experience in crisis intervention, trauma response, or organizational psychology.c
Specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Psychological First Aid, or similar crisis response methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact sensitively with diverse populations
Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Ontario
