Are you a Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist with a passion for workplace mental health? TELUS Health is expanding our Critical Incidents (CI) affiliate network across Ontario. This unique contract position offers you the opportunity to make a profound impact on employee well-being while maintaining flexibility in your career.

The impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a key member of our Critical Incidents network, you'll play a vital role in trauma response and crisis management across Ontario. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing rapid on-site support, conducting debriefings, offering psychological first aid, and guiding post-incident recovery. Together, we'll deliver professional crisis intervention services, enhance organizational preparedness, and improve mental health in the workplace.

Here's How

  • Deliver on-site Critical Incident Response (CIR) promptly and professionally, tailored to each critical incident and organizational culture

  • Conduct individual and group crisis interventions, debriefings, and defusing sessions

  • Provide immediate psychological first aid to affected employees

  • Offer expert consultations to corporate clients on crisis management

  • Guide organizations through post-incident recovery processes

  • Document all services accurately according to TELUS Health standards

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and affiliated professionals serving as a corporate ambassador for TELUS Health.
     

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

  • Active membership with a professional college in Ontario and valid professional liability insurance.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate experience in crisis intervention, trauma response, or organizational psychology.c

  • Specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Psychological First Aid, or similar crisis response methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact sensitively with diverse populations

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Ontario
