Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring an Electrical Engineer, SME to work in Hunstville, AL. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. 

 

The Engineer SME with experience supporting mission criitcal operations within the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) .

 

This is a full-time position with work that becomes available in mid-December 2024 upon award. 

  • Serving as liaison with other skilled commercial contractors and government agencies regarding research and development efforts in support of the Customer's mission
  • Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use
  • Providing strategic guidance to the Customer and team involving tool testing and future development
  • Serving as a subject matter expert

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Recognized industry leader in electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Expert understanding of automotive/telematic systems
  • Expert understanding of embedded electronic systems
  • Ability to read and create schematics for custom electronics
  • Ability to repair and modify custom electronic systems
  • Ability to create and follow test plans for analyzing Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Government off the Shelf (GOTS) electronics systems

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
