Job Details

Under general direction of the designated Manager, the Firewall Architect - Network is responsible for installing, modifying, removing and analyzing networking hardware and software on the Company’s enterprise network. This position includes enterprise network architecture design and project management.

• Install, configure, and support network and firewall infrastructure globally.

• Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including App ID, source and destination IPs, Ports, and Transport Protocol.

• Works with other IT teams of network engineers in performing vulnerability and fault analysis on enterprise perimeter devices and developing and implementing system remediation and recovery plans.

• Global enterprise network security solutions and architecture.

• Global enterprise network security design standards and documents.

• Identifying root cause of incidents and making appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure.

• Being proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality.

• Strictly following Move to Production process including checking that tools and documentation are up to date.

• Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

• Typically requires ten (10) or more years of relevant IT work experience.

• Relevant certifications

• Expert level Firewall experience (Palo Alto preferred)

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of NGFW and FWaaS.

• Experience with general IT concepts beyond their primary discipline

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good interpersonal skills; effective team player

• Good analytical skills with attention to detail

• Advance knowledge routing and switching.

• Good knowledge of general data center technology.
