About the Team
Our team is responsible for building and managing programs designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of our customers' most sensitive data. We ensure that company practices, policies, and processes are performed in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements and Workday’s core values.About the Role
As a Senior Associate of the Cybersecurity Compliance team at Workday, you will use your compliance knowledge as well as risk and relationship management experience to help Workday’s continual growth in technology compliance certifications and programs, including work towards new standards and certifications.
The role will be based in our EMEA HQ in Dublin working alongside an existing, established and supportive team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist with compliance and audit programs across multiple teams, including operations, security and development
- Clearly articulate compliance programs and handle communications with third parties, including customers, partners and vendors
- Participate on external compliance audit activities and key controls
- Review new product features to understand impact to compliance requirements
- Complete formal risk assessments of projects, initiatives, technologies and processes
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an equivalent technology risk and compliance related role
- Experience in supporting or leading industry compliance standards such as SOC1/SOC2, ISO27001, Privacy standards
- Program/project management experience
- Degree or equivalent years of work experience
Other Qualifications
- Familiarity with EU compliance standards such as C5, Cyber Essentials, TISAX
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Software as a Service, particularly risk models and controls related to these services
- Demonstrable ability to think critically while maintaining operational efficiency
- Organized, responsive, and able to gain support and consensus with cross-functional teams
- Experience influencing and coordinating the work of others to meet key project milestones, with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to speak articulately to technical and operational processes
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and organise time effectively
- Strong communications skills
- CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certifications a plus
- Experience facilitating and leading security and compliance audits;
- SaaS industry-specific regulatory compliance knowledge a plus
