Information Security Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering and architecture skills to lead the design and development of secure systems for our DoD customer? We’re looking for an engineer who can create solutions for the DoD that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As an Information Security Analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll be coordinating and briefing risk across the program, maintaining eMASS entries or updates, and working with our teams to monitor compliance and audits. You’ll coordinate work with multiple divisions to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs.

This is a chance to lead a team to make a difference in the security of software systems for the warfighter. You’ll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience with Risk Management Framework
  • Experience with Security
  • Experience with eMASS
  • Experience with cross functional management
  • Knowledge of multiple DoD customers
  • Ability to communicate across communities
  • Secret clearance

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Experience in system architecture and design
  • Experience with government environments and standards
  • Experience with Cloud and DevOps principles
  • Ability to work under general direction, independently determining and developing approaches to solutions
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communications skills, including executive-level presentations

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
