Description

We are seeking a motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to support our internal teams. In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day management of user access, working closely with internal teams to ensure effective onboarding, offboarding, and changes to user privileges. This position will provide an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, access controls, and identity management processes across a high volume of applications.



Key Responsibilities 

  • User Access Management: Assist in the provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning of user access, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Support: Provide support for the company’s SSO environment, including handling basic troubleshooting tasks and user access issues for a variety of applications.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Help monitor user activities and log data to identify any potential anomalies or security concerns.
  • Documentation and Ticketing: Document access management activities and maintain detailed records in the company’s ticketing system to support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (IT, Security, HR) and external stakeholders to resolve access issues and ensure proper role-based access is maintained.
  • Incident Response Support: Assist in responding to and documenting identity-related incidents, following security best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in efforts to streamline identity management processes, identify automation opportunities, and improve efficiency under guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

  • Education: Work towards a degree or a degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • 0–2 years of experience in IT, Information Security, or Identity and Access Management.
    • Familiarity with IAM concepts and systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD, or equivalent).
    • Understanding of access control principles and identity lifecycle management is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Basic understanding of SSO protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and role-based access control (RBAC).
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with ticketing systems and follow workflows.
  • Certifications: While not required, certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or relevant coursework in IAM/security will be considered a plus.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with security compliance and audit requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation is beneficial but not required.
