We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, IAM Engineering to join our team. As a IAM Engineering Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's Identity and Access Management platforms (currently SailPoint, CyberArk, Active Directory, and AAD). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IAM strategies that align with our business objectives.

Location: Everest Global Offices in Canada, Warren, or Remote

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM platforms and solutions to protect the organization's critical data, applications, assets and infrastructure.

  • Assess current IAM capabilities related to Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Data Governance, and Application Access Management and implement continual improvements and integrations with Everest systems and platforms

  • Collaborate with IT teams to design IAM integrations in support of managing identity lifecycle processes, access to IT applications and resources, Data Governance, and Privileged/Administrative access

  • Mature Everest’s integration approach and implementations by more tightly integrating existing IAM platforms using technologies such as SailPoint Workflows, AAD Workflows PowerShell scripting, API-level integrations, Azure AD Authentication and Authorization components, Exchange Online, and Office365

  • Design and implement event feeds and integrations between IAM platform and SOC/SIEM tools for enhanced monitoring and alerting of IAM events

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for IAM processes, as well as current configurations of IAM platform tools

  • Stay up to date with emerging IAM threats, technologies, and trends in support of Zero Trust principles related to human and non-human identity management

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the IAM team.

  • Translate business and technical Identity security requirements into an architectural blueprint adhering to enterprise security architecture standards

  • Participate in product/vendor evaluation and selection process

  • Produce IAM platform solution architecture artifacts related to our SailPoint, CyberArk, and Data Access Governance solutions

  • Leverage automation to simplify and optimize IAM policies, optimize time-to-deliver for application and resource access, and and capabilities for the ongoing audit and certification of access

  • Deliver direct/indirect management and oversight for team of IAM security platform engineering resources (employees and consultants) tasked with day-to-day support and development of integrations between SailPoint, CyberArk, AD, AAD, and SaaS solutions supporting Everest’s business and technology users

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields

  • 7-10 years of experience in design and implementation of security solutions

  • Proven experience in PAM, Identity Governance, Directory Services, Databases, Authentication and Authorization methods

  • Ability to clearly articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
