Senior Security Analyst, Cloud Cyber Security Operations

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst who will work with the existing team to perform security assessment, monitoring and operational duties across LSEG. The role works closely with other operations, engineering and application support teams to deliver outcomes which align to our ambition for LSEG to be one of the world’s great companies!

Role responsibilities include:

• Gain a detailed understanding of how LSEG makes use of public cloud to host a wide range of business application workloads.
• Perform risk assessments on cloud change requests which require CyberSecurity review and approval.
• Monitor cloud security alerts and investigate whether threat notifications and control gaps require remediation action.
• Improve the efficiency of cloud security alerting mechanisms and propose refinements to reduce the volume of false positives.
• Support the Global Security Operations Team (GSOC) team with any required cloud security investigations.
• Support Cloud Operations and LSEG application teams with any required security related questions or issues.
• Maintain the cloud security operations runbook to document the day-to-day processes that are performed.
