Network & Security Engineer

• Designing and implementing Network & security solutions, with consideration for all available technologies and business requirements, troubleshoot Network & security environment problems, and provide technical support                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

• Assist and provide on system design and planning.

• Analyzing network security threats and developing security solutions to mitigate risk.

• Installing and configuring firewalls, and other security technologies.

• Developing security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.

• Maintaining an inventory of software patches for all networking systems and updating them regularly to address vulnerability issues

• Managing security operations by monitoring security events and identifying potential security risks.

• Follow audit process, compliant requirement, and coordinate in audit

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience

• Hands-on, technical experience with security solutions and technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and wide range of security technologies such as Firewalls, IPS, VPN, WAF, Web Proxy and email Gateway, and end-point protection solutions

• Ability to assess network activity and system configuration for anomalous activity to determine system security status

• Has keen knowledge and understanding of current cyber threats.

• Firewall technology experience with a clear understanding of Networking ( Fortigate ,Palo Alto, Forcepoint ), VPN & security technologies

• Ethernet, Wireless, and TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting

• Expertise in penetration testing, networking, system administration, and operating systems

• A strong understanding of the hardware infrastructure, DNS (domain name system), routers, firewall systems, and cloud computing applications are required.

• Good working knowledge of: TCP/IP, common network traffic, network protocols, LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies Security best practices and standards, IT Security framework, IT security incident response and IT Security assessment.
