DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

• We are seeking a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

.NET development and be passionate about building high-quality, scalable applications.

• Engineer solutions and integrations for DevSecOps platform (Azure DevOps / GitHub Enterprise)

• Develop and test extensions and automation script for Azure DevOps platform (or GitHub Enterprise)

• Improve team productivity, by automating different tasks via CI/CD pipelines or scripts

• Integrate various tools in the DevSecOps toolchain to accelerate development team's velocity while maintaining high standards for

quality and consistency

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust Azure API solutions using PaaS services such as Azure Function Apps, Azure Identity

Management, Azure SQL Server, Azure storage, Azure App Insights etc.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of implemented solutions, recommend improvements when necessary.

 

About you:

 

• Overall 7+ years of IT experience

• Solid experience with C#, .NET and Web API

• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and PowerShell

• Strong experience in development and deployment of cloud native applications (preferably on MS technology)

• Strong database (MSSQL) experience

• Practical experience with Azure Cloud operations

• Knowledge of Python scripting is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of modern software development practices (DevSecOps, CI, CD) / and practical experience on new IT landscape

(Containers, Infrastructure as Code, Microservices, Public Cloud, Security and Monitoring)

• Analytical, conceptual, and problem resolution capabilities with strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Change embracing and forward thinking with strong "customer first" attitude with an emphasis on responsibility and ownership of

customer requests.

• Ensure code quality and adherence to industry best practices, including security and compliance requirements.

• Continuously research and stay up to date on the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications.

• Write clean, scalable code using C# programming languages.

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python or PowerShell.

• Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing incident response and mitigation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring stable environment.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technology trends and advancements in .NET and related technologies
