Thatâs why we need you, a cybersecurity mission specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a cybersecurity mission specialist on our team, youâll lead the assessment of your clientâs cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. Youâll evaluate and audit how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, youâll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. Youâll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.Â

You Have:
- 12+ years of experience in professional services, the Federal government, or Federal consulting
- 6+ years of experience in the cybersecurity or information assurance field and providing an operational understanding of the cybersecurity program within the DoD
- 4+ years of experience supporting DoD-level cybersecurity service provider (CSSP) teams
- 4+ years of experience writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence or material to support decision-making and strategy development
- 2+ years of experience drafting technical writing at the organization-level, including technical policies and strategies
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelorâs degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience facilitating meetings such as working groups and conferences, and associated pre- and post-meeting activities
- Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
- Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- CISSP or CISM Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.Â

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
