Description

The Senior Cyber & Information Security Analyst is tasked with maintaining diligently information security and cyber security incidents. The SCISA will assist in various assessments and consults on remediation actions working with cross-functional teams to extend the information and cyber security related risks. 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse security events raised by our tooling and take adequate steps together with cross-functional departments to mitigate them.
• Managing incident, change and give support on flexible solutions, perform root-cause analysis and document the resolutions of identified issues.
• Provide guidance in the best practices in terms firewalls, code source and backup/restore.
• Maintain and develop the detection database rules.
• Support Cyber Security Manager in organizational cyber security landscape. 

Secondary Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the global IT Team to balance workloads across the wider team.
• Encourage best practice in, and share knowledge with, other members of the wider IT Team to improve Anthesis’ cyber security posture 
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A graduate of a bachelor's degree in information technology or any relevant qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• With 2+ years proven experience in cyber security as an analyst or incident responder (in a SOC/CSIRT setup) 
• Strong understanding of security operations and incident responses process.
• Proficient in the use of security tools and technologies, including SIEM, Vulnerability management, endpoint protection, email protection is desirable.
• Experience administering security technologies and controls for any of the following:

          o   Public Cloud (Azure)          o   Identity Management          o   Email Security          o   Networking          o   Endpoint and MDM management

•  Knowledge of Incident response Security frameworks and industry best practices.

 Nice to have one of the following:

•  CompTIA Security+ or Cybersecurity Analyst+
• ISC2 CC
• MS Cybersecurity Analyst
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
