The Cyber Security Vendor Access Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies to protect Sky’s data, systems, and networks. This includes identifying potential risks and threats and ensuring compliance with Sky policy when reviewing and recommending third party access methods.

What you'll do:

  • You will work with the vendor and identity management teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
  • Evaluate the security posture of vendors and partners that are connecting to Sky systems and networks to determine the most appropriate access method, based on the business requirements and consistency to Sky policies
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams, including procurement, legal, and technical and project teams, to ensure security requirements are integrated into both the vendor onboarding and vendor lifecycle processes
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, governance, and best practices related to vendor access
  • Recommends security controls, measures, and strategies to mitigate vendor-related security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Educates internal teams and vendors on security best practices and the importance of cybersecurity in vendor relationships

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience gathering business requirements, conducting impact assessments and documenting processes
  • Practical experience of third-party access methods, for example VPN and Azure B2B
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills bringing a creative approach to solution finding
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work across multiple work streams and projects at any given time
