Auria is looking to hire a Network Engineer 3 to join our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program.  This position will be based in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

This position includes both the engineering of new capabilities and the maintenance of existing environments. We use a mix of different vendors and expect the network engineer to be comfortable working with numerous technologies.

Essential Functions:

  • Primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program.
  • Responsible for learning how to plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.

  • An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • 5 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 3 years' experience with a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree..
  • Must start with a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
  • Candidate must have demonstratable knowledge and skills for the following:
    • Network design, development, and testing methodologies.
    • OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
    • Network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
    • UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
    • Multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
    • Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
    • Thrive in a collaborative and agile environment.
    • Occasional travel to remote locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to perform network installations, troubleshoot, deployments, and provide status updates to program personnel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance is highly desired.

Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($99,000 - $113,000).
