PURPOSE: The Manager of Identity Management, Access, and Provisioning leads the strategic planning, development, and management of the company’s identity and access management (IAM) function. This role is responsible for overseeing, optimizing and transforming the access provisioning process, ensuring secure and seamless access to critical systems, and driving identity governance across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IAM platforms and will have experience transforming security processes and leading teams to efficiently manage access control, security policies, and identity provisioning lifecycles.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Lead and manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and driving team success.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of identity management and access provisioning processes and tools.
- Assess existing IAM processes and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR and Business Units to define the to-be processes and strategic roadmap to fully implement the existing Information Governance Administration tools and achieve desired outcomes and ROI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Security, and other business units to maintain and enforce security policies and standards for identity management.
- Ensure secure provisioning, de-provisioning, and modification of user access rights in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the identity lifecycle, including onboarding, role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM).
- Collaborate with the Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance to coordinate access certification processes and identity governance reviews to maintain appropriate levels of system access for users.
- Ensure integration of IAM with other enterprise systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, ERP, cloud platforms).
- Stay up to date on emerging IAM technologies, threats, and industry trends; recommend and implement enhancements as needed.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee IAM technology implementations and upgrades.
- Lead incident management for identity-related security issues and provide guidance on IAM-related risk mitigation.
- Develop and deliver regular reports and metrics on IAM activities, including user access compliance and system performance.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Education, Training and Previous Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and other federated identity protocols.
- Experience with identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, and governance frameworks.
Desired, but not required:
- Master’s degree in Information Security, IT Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP).
- Experience with IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing cloud-based identity management solutions.
- Experience with user access reviews and re-certifications
Technical and Business Experience
- Experience collaborating with IT, functions and business units to drive initiatives
- Experience implementing complex enterprise-class security solutions
- Experience with a ‘crawl-walk-run’ transformation approach that balances speed of achieving business goals with ability of the organization to absorb change.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA) related to identity management.
