We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to help manage and grow our Cybersecurity associates and assist with Security Awareness Training initiatives. The associate will play a critical role in shaping the future of our cybersecurity talent by developing a comprehensive rotational program for our current associates that want to look at other areas within Cybersecurity and for Cyber Development program associates, while also building a robust security awareness training program to educate the organization.

This program aims to train and develop employees across various areas of cybersecurity, ensuring they achieve high levels of expertise and become leaders in the field. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cybersecurity, development programs, Security Awareness, and organizational growth, with the ability to collaborate closely with team leaders to understand skills needs and create a secure learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, manage, and maintain the educational and growth program within the cybersecurity department.

  • Facilitate internal cybersecurity associate growth by curating and defining rotational opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and corporate teams to identify learning needs and goals for each teams’ requirements and needs.

  • Design learning tracks and goal-setting frameworks for cyber associates to ensure successful skill acquisition for each team.

  • Contribute to our Security Awareness Training program across the organization to reduce cybersecurity risks from human error.

  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to identify key threat areas and ensure training addresses current risks.

  • Create engaging, up-to-date content for training sessions, including phishing simulations, workshops, and online learning modules.

  • Monitor employee participation and performance in training programs, analyzing results to continuously improve the curriculum.

  • Stay informed on the latest social engineering threats and incorporate best practices into the security awareness training.

  • Partner with team leaders and department heads to determine how our college development program participants will fit into their teams during rotations, what skills they will learn.

  • Work closely with each rotation team to ensure participants receive adequate mentorship and are exposed to meaningful projects.

  • Develop personalized learning plans for each participant based on program goals and individual career aspirations.

  • Establish measurable goals and track progress to ensure that program participants achieve milestones and advance in their skillsets.

  • Create or curate learning materials for all levels of Cyber associates (e.g., workshops, courses, certifications) that align with each stage of development.

  • Work closely with the corporate HR and talent acquisition teams to manage the hiring process for program participants.

  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring that Cyber associates are set up for success from day one.

  • Coordinate feedback and assessments at the conclusion of each rotation and facilitate permanent placement within the organization.

  • Continuously evaluate our Cyber programs effectiveness, gathering feedback from associates and team leaders to make necessary adjustments.

  • Stay informed of the latest trends in cybersecurity education, training, and development, as well as security awareness, to ensure the program remains competitive and impactful.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity environment,

  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, program management, or training.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity roles, security awareness principles, and skillsets across various domains.

  • Proven experience designing learning programs, security awareness training, or rotational programs.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a focus on attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in hiring and onboarding processes is a plus.

One or more of the following certifications are highly desired:

  • Security+

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)

  • GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Annual Salary

$80,000.00 - $185,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
