Hardware Reverse Engineer

Full Visibility is seeking a Hardware Reverse Engineer to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

The Hardware Reverse Engineer will be responsible for performing reverse engineering on embedded technologies, hardware, and architectures in support of a critical mission. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and program microcontrollers and/or FPGA boards to monitor or communicate with internal buses; and implement capabilities through reverse engineering to identify vulnerabilities and determine exploitable vulnerabilities. The Engineer will perform vulnerability assessments of secure technologies to analyze whether protected or inaccessible information is recoverable; and monitor and manipulate electronic devices, as the board level, included busses, test points, and interfaces.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
  
• At least four (4+) years of experience with software development and reverse engineering or vulnerability analysis
  
• Experience with and knowledge of python, C, and/or C++ programming languages
  
• Experience with software, firmware, and hardware reverse engineering tools, including Ghidra or IDA Pro
  
• Experience with microcelectronics reverse engineering
  
• Experience using electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, JTAG/SW debuggers
  
• Knowledge of FPGAs
  
• Knowledge of ARM architecture and assembly language
  
• Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar field.
  

 Desired Skills:

• Experience with cryptography
  
• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
