Why We Need you!
Primary responsibilities for this position are to drive the rapid and comprehensive strategies for application content delivery while striving for continuous improvement. The content can be comprised of patch data, desktop application data, and other security related data. This position works directly with a wide variety of project teams and project data sets.
This includes user story development, acceptance criteria and software development, execution of automation scripts and tools. This individual will track and report on defects while maintaining automation collateral. They will work closely with product management to define and understand user requirements, and with software engineering teams to ensure requirements are met while leveraging automation strategies to meet rapid release cycles.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Confers with Manager, Content team members, Product Management, and product development teams to resolve questions of data intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal quality checks and controls.
- Gives input on new content research, product analysis and process improvements.
- Continues to learn and keep abreast of new technologies. Adheres to all marketing and business principles of the company.
- Performs complex bug verification, release content and support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by the team and develops solutions to the problems.
- Assists in acquiring, analysing, testing, and publishing the content which powers all of the company's computer security software.
- Assists in maintaining scripting tools and internal applications needed to support content collection and generation.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:
- 4-5 Years of IT experience.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and debug systems and applications.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work within groups and teams, resolve conflicts, and solve problems.
- Must have knowledge of and be able to apply technology solutions within the context of management and business operations.
- Must be able to monitor trends in technology applications as related to business goals.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate excellent time management, decision-making, and organisation skills.
- Automation hands on preferably with PowerShell, Python or with any scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software installations on Windows and UNIX-based computers and with XML, and scripting languages Power Shell/Lua script, Python, etc..
- Experience in vulnerability management, IT Services, or a related endpoint management field.
- Experience with business processes, data maintenance and computer security experience.
