Expert DevOps Engineer - NetSec Specialist

What will you do? 

Cloud Engineer with background in DevOps, Site Reliability, &/or Automation development to join our Network Security team. Tasks will include execution of tasks related to the analysis and implementation of updates and improvements to existing public cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. Execution of tasks recognized and addressed by the Financial Company in the area of public clouds and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. Ad-hoc intervention and support for the Client in resolving critical issues in the area of public clouds and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. The ideal candidate will focus on the deployment, automation, and monitoring of network security tools, ensuring robust and scalable security solutions. This role requires a blend of automation and development expertise, and an awareness of Network and Security concepts. 

Your skills: 

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform Cloud) 

• 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS and cloud security practices. Experience with AWS services such as CloudTrail, EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Config, and GuardDuty. 

• Experience with SIEM technologies (Splunk), event correlations, query management, and custom detections / reporting 

• Understanding of network security products, operational procedures, network protocols, and information security best practices. 

• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting languages 

• Proven track record of leading significant projects from inception to completion 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 

• Ability to self-organize, prioritize activities independently, and manage uncertainty effectively. 

Nice to have: 

• Knowledge of Grafana, Helm, Jenkins, and GitLab
