Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Specialist I

In this role you will create and maintain robust information security policies, standards, and procedure documents, create and facilitate reviews of governance documents (information security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines) as assigned. Also build and maintain relationships with a wide network of mainly IT stakeholders necessary for successful task completion. Support delivery of information security awareness training, phishing exercises, and repeat clicker program throughout the year. This will include supporting annual security awareness training content updates, supporting phish training assignments, creating reports from phish training data to derive meaningful insights for leadership.

Requirements

Total Work Experience

  • Minimum Required: 3-6 years
  • Preferred: 7-9 years

English Proficiency

  • Minimum Required: Fluent

Required Education

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree

Required Branches of Study

  • Information Security
  • Information Systems, or equivalent but not required

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 - 3 years of experience in IT Security or Information Security control assessments or a comparable base of knowledge/expertise in the field.
  • Solid experience in documenting controls, policies, reports, presentations, and agendas.
  • PC skills and hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access.
  • Attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential qualifications for this role.
  • Familiarity with governance and controls frameworks, such as COBIT, COSO, ITIL, NIST, and ISO preferred.
  • At least one industry certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CIPP, or equivalent) is desired but not required.
  • Demonstrated characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator who thrives on new challenges and adapts to learning new knowledge.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, to communicate in all directions, and to instill purpose and confidence.
  • High-level attention to detail, self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Possesses executive presence, excellent communication skills both oral and written (must be able to tailor their communication style as the candidate will interface with contacts at a range of levels).
  • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
