Working as an OT/ICS Security Consultant

As a OT/ICS Security Consultant, you will be an integral part of our consulting team, working closely with senior consultants and clients. You will be working on national and international assignments, so travel can be part of the role. 

Your role will involve:

• Consultancy: You’ll engage with clients from various industries. Your role will involve understanding their operational needs and helping them secure their OT/ICS environments.
• Support Projects: You’ll assist in performing security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing solutions. This will involve work with industrial systems and learning how to apply security practices in real-world scenarios.
• Learning & Development: This role offers significant opportunities for learning. You’ll be exposed to various aspects of OT/ICS security, from network architecture to risk management. You’ll have the chance to work alongside experienced consultants who will mentor you and help you grow your expertise.
• Client Interaction: You’ll communicate directly with clients, helping them understand the importance of securing their OT environments. You’ll translate complex security concepts into actionable insights that clients can implement in their operations.

We’re looking for someone with a strong interest in OT/ICS security and a desire to build a career in this field. 

You should have:

• Genuine Interest: A passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in how industrial systems work. You’re eager to learn and ready to dive into the complexities of OT/ICS environments.
• Basic Knowledge: A understanding of industrial automation, network security, and relevant standards such as IEC 62443, NIST 800-82. While you may not have extensive experience, you have a strong desire to develop your skills in these areas.
• Proactive Mindset: You’re not afraid to ask questions and seek out information. You’re a problem solver who is eager to take initiative and contribute to the team’s success.
• Communication Skills: You can clearly communicate your ideas and findings, both in writing and verbally. You’re able to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues in a way that’s easy to understand.
