What will you do? 

 

Cloud Engineer  - Security Cloud Systems Developer / Security Cloud Architect works as part of the broader Security Operations Center to enhance the security engineering function within the SOC. Tasks will include execution of tasks related to the analysis and implementation of updates and improvements to existing public cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. Execution of tasks recognized and addressed by the Financial Company in the area of public clouds and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. Ad-hoc intervention and support for the Client in resolving critical issues in the area of public clouds and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions – Terraform. He/she will also be tasked with ensuring that our assets meeting baseline security standards and that we have visibility and observability across all assets in the estate.   

  

Your skills: 

 

  • 3+ years in a hands-on technical role in information security 

  • 3+ years of Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS) 

  • 5+ years of infrastructure/software engineering experience with a focus on Cloud technologies 

  • Ability to write automation scripts and web services (Python, Bash

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g. Terraform Cloud) 

  • Experience working with git source control and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab CICD/Runners) 

  • Experience with both Linux and Windows OS (Kubernetes, AWS ECS) 

  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture (to include endpoint, network, and cloud-based attack surfaces) 

  • Experience with SIEM technologies, event correlations, query management, and custom detections. 

  • Experience with asset hardening (CIS / STIG) 

  • Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response systems. 

  • Experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms  

  • Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences. 

  • Must possess strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills. 

  • Team player with a willingness to learn and be part of a world class seaudiences.am. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 

  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize activities independently, and manage uncertainty effectively.

  • Knowledge of Grafana, Helm, Jenkins, and GitLab
