Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

Job Description

  • POSITION TITLE (ENGLISH):  Information Security Incident Response Intern
  • Band: P1
  • REPORTING TO: Manager                             
  • REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore
  • WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore   

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES: (maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and introduction of posting on Eurofins website and career portals)

The Intern is expected to join our driven, highly skilled and diverse L1 Incident Response Team. Actively participate in L1 SOC team operations, including assisting in security monitoring solutions and reacting timely to security events, as identified.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES: (maximum 1000 characters (not including spaces) for posting on Eurofins website and career portals):   

Eurofins is ramping up Security Operations Center and has a need to extend the L1 incident response team. The person working in L1 SOC team operates the security monitoring solutions, reacting timely to security events as identified.

Job Description:

  • Monitor and analyse cyber security events with the use of SIEM, antivirus and endpoint detection & response solutions.
  • Execute SOC procedures as well as triage security events and incidents, detect anomalies, and report remediation actions.
  • Ensure completeness of the incident information.
  • Assist in analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users.
  • Escalate of incidents to be handled to L2 SOC team, when relevant.
  • Follow up on remediation activities.
  • Triage on general information security tickets.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Good to have knowledge on information/ cyber security concepts and tools used in the industry.

Personal Qualities:

  • Keen on entering the information security world and developing in that direction.
  • Strong communication and detail-orientated skills. Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proactive and adaptable personality with a keen analytical mindset, necessary to investigate cases.
  • Open and eager to learn company policies and processes.
  • Reliability, well developed, logical thinking capabilities, to be able to investigate cases.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and for posting on Eurofins website and career portals)

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA or any other equivalent degree.
  • Good to have knowledge in Information Security and any related tools.
