Your Role and Responsibilities
The Control Systems Cybersecurity Consultant shall serve as a technical advisor to provide oversight of, direction to, and reporting for the Department of the Air Force’s Cyber Resiliency Office for Control Systems (CROCS) program and strategic implementation plan. He/she shall help plan, oversee, analyze, document, track, and report progress on government-approved strategies, programmatic initiatives, prioritization and technical solutions to mitigate cyber vulnerabilities on ICS/SCADA and Operational Technology supporting AF critical, IT-enabled infrastructure. Ideal candidate should be able to handle senior client communications and briefings, have strong customer interaction, strategic delivery, and coordination skills to manage schedules, technical teams, analysis, reporting, and ad hoc requests.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Project management (client interface, scheduling, coordination, project planning, reporting, financial tracking)
- Cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance; vulnerability management, NIST Cybersecurity Framework/controls
- Analytical, critical thinking / problem solving, and time management skills
- Security clearance: minimum DoD Secret clearance active or eligible, (preferable: Top Secret eligible)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Industry Information Assurance certification (A+, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, etc.)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience working with DoD client
