Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fulfill the mixed role of Project Manager and Security Manager. As the Project and Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery while ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective security measures within the organization. Your role will involve managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholders, as well as assessing and mitigating security risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This position requires a strong blend of project management expertise and knowledge of security principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:
Project Management:
– Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within budget, scope, and timelines
– Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
– Develop and maintain project plans, including task assignments, dependencies, and timelines
– Coordinate and allocate resources, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency
– Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
– Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
– Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns
– Track and report project metrics, including progress, budget, and quality
– Implement project management best practices and methodologies
– Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and techniques

Security Management:
– Assess and analyze security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to the organization
– Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
– Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and standards
– Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
– Establish and maintain effective security controls, including physical, technical, and administrative measures
– Coordinate security incident response activities and ensure timely resolution
– Educate and train employees on security awareness and best practices
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development and deployment processes
– Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats
– Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks
– Liaise with external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors, to address security-related requirements

Tasks:
Project Management:
– Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation
– Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
– Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
– Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
– Monitor project budgets and ensure financial accountability
– Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions
– Foster a positive and collaborative project team culture
– Use project management tools and software to streamline project workflows

Security Management:
– Perform security risk assessments and vulnerability scans
– Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
– Implement access control and authentication mechanisms
– Conduct security awareness training for employees
– Monitor and analyze security logs and events
– Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations
– Stay updated with industry standards and regulations
– Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures in infrastructure and systems
– Conduct security audits and penetration testing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
‘- Proven experience in project management, leading and delivering projects on time and within budget
– Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
– Familiarity with security principles, best practices, and frameworks
– Experience in implementing and managing security controls and compliance requirements
– Familiarity with security regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
– Proactive and results-driven mindset
– Leadership and team management skills
– Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus
