Vice President – Cyber Operations

JOB PURPOSE• Oversee and manage the organization's cyber operations to ensure the security and integrity of information systems and data.• Develop and implement strategies to protect against cyber threats and respond to incidents.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cybersecurity Strategy Development and Execution:• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity operations strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.• Define and manage the roadmap for cybersecurity initiatives, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
Threat Detection and Incident Response:• Lead the development and implementation of threat detection and incident response processes.• Oversee the monitoring of security systems and the investigation of security breaches.
Risk Management and Compliance:• Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and develop mitigation strategies.• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
Team Leadership and Development:• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:• Communicate regularly with executive leadership and key stakeholders about cybersecurity risks and initiatives.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of cybersecurity efforts with business goals.
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCEMinimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT operations, with a proven track record of leading successful operations in complex organizations
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITIONMin of: 5+ years of managerial experience in a related field
