System Administrator - Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Perform systems administration of cyber tools sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains. Provide support to developmental and operational systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices. Maintain integrity and security of cross domain system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues. Configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems and install and load operating system and application software. Learn how to help clients overcome challenges through monitoring and performance management. Analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Combine technical knowledge and communication skills to turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. Work individually and as team participant and obtain guidance and direction from more senior level technicians, specialists, or managers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a system administrator
- Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, including operating systems
- Experience with installing and configuring devices, applications, and security tools
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Associate’s degree and 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND within 30 days of hire
Optional Qualifications:
- Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer
- Experience scripting in PowerShell or BASH command line interfaces
- Experience in using Active Directory to manage Windows policies
- Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions
