See yourself in our team

Reporting to the General Manager Engineering Delivery, you will drive the overall DevSecOps transformation roadmap, lead engineering delivery teams on automation and transition efforts while uplifting engineering skills and culture in alignment with our Agile ways of working (PACE) and DevSecOps principles.

In this key leadership role, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps transformation roadmap aligned with the bank's overall technology strategy
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the transformation initiatives
  • Drive cultural change to promote DevSecOps practices and mindset across the organisation
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams to implement DevSecOps best practices, tools and automation
  • Oversee the transition of existing systems and processes to align with DevSecOps principles
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and progress of the transformation

We’re interested in hearing from people who have experience in:

  • Designing and implementing training programs to uplift engineering skills in DevSecOps practices
  • Have the ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation and collaboration
  • Can align engineering practices with Agile ways of working (PACE) and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Understand security integration and can ensure security is embedded throughout the SDLC and drive the adoption of security-as-code practices across engineering teams

Skills Required:

  • You will have a background in software engineering ideally gained in a complex enterprise environment
  • Be very well versed in DevOps tools and practices together with a deep understanding of modern software development including security principles
  • You will possess strong leadership qualities and be a strategic thinker to deliver on agreed objectives
  • Be able to communicate transformation progress, challenges and successes to not only the executive leadership team but to all levels of the organisation  
  • You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both engineering and security teams
