Overview

JST is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager (IT) to support our team. The Alternate Program Manager will serve as the deputy to the Program Manager and act in their place when necessary. This individual will assist in managing all aspects of the contract's performance, ensuring smooth operations and communication with the government when the Program Manager is unavailable. The Alternate Program Manager will also play a key role in project management and personnel oversight.

Deputy Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Act on behalf of the Program Manager when the Program Manager is unavailable.
  • Ensure continuity of operations by overseeing contract tasks and maintaining open communication with government representatives.
  • Assist with day-to-day management of contractor personnel and contract performance.
  • Support the execution of tasks involving IT services, systems engineering, and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract and security requirements, including personnel clearances and training.
  • Provide leadership in problem resolution, workforce stability, and performance tracking to avoid disruptions in service delivery.

Deputy Program Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years Proven experience as a Program Manager with a focus on IT services or government contracting.
  • Strong project management skills with familiarity in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • 2+ years Experience managing IT systems, including Oracle DBs, SQL Server, Linux, Windows, and cloud services.
  • PMP required.
  • IAT Level II (CISSP or Sec+) required.

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST have an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access
  • MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
