Purpose

Within IDEMIA IPS, the Penetration Testing Team Manager will be responsible for leading a team of penetration testers, coordinating and managing all activities related to the testing of information systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities. The role involves ensuring the effective identification and mitigation of security risks, developing testing strategies, and reporting findings to stakeholders.

Key Missions

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of penetration testers. Provide guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of penetration testing projects. Ensure that all testing is conducted within the agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Risk Assessment: Collaborate with other security teams to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's systems.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive penetration testing strategy that aligns with the organization's overall security objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tool Management: Oversee the selection, configuration, and maintenance of penetration testing tools and environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity and incorporate them into the testing processes.
  • Cybersecurity Framework: Contribute to the evolution of the cybersecurity Framework with the integration of penetration testing activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all penetration testing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all penetration testing matters and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Awareness: Participate to initiatives for educating population on cybersecurity best practices.

Profile & Other Information

Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in penetration testing, with at least 2 years in a management or lead role.
  • Certifications: CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop actionable solutions. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
