We’re looking for a dedicated Security Consultant to join our dynamic Security Operations Centre (SOC) within our Managed Security Services line of business.
In this exciting role, you will engage with a variety of clients and lead them through crucial cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring their defences are robust and effective.
As a Security Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our Defensive Security Services (DSS), managing a diverse range of engagements from client onboarding to Platform deployments.
Your expertise will guide clients through the deployment, configuration, and enhancement of security products tailored to their unique business needs.
What will you do
- Client Engagements - Design, deploy, configure, and review security products and processes to meet client and business requirements.
- Communication: - Act as the primary point of contact for technical and project matters, maintaining clear and regular communication with clients and internal teams.
- Risk Management – Identify, document and monitor risks and issues, at the project, security and business levels, providing insightful recommendations to enhance security postures.
- Quality Assurance - Produce high-quality client documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Continuous Learning - Stay updated on the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity, applying this knowledge to your daily work.
What will you bring?
- Cybersecurity experience, covering; monitoring, deployment, configuration, and review.
- Relevant certifications like Security+, GSEC, ISO 27001, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with security products such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and automation.
- A strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to initiate and develop solutions independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Client facing experience ideally gained in a Consulting environment.
