The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking to hire a master multitasker with excellent communication skills. This position provides high-level administrative expertise with a broad scope and complexity of work assignments to support the Contract Beds Administrator as well as the private prisons. Ensures implementation and evaluation of agency goals and objectives. Serves as the bureau’s liaison for fleet. Conducts Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) reports for all negative law enforcement for private prisons, religious/statewide volunteers, contractors, and those from the Operations Assistant Director. Acts as a backup to the ACJIS Security Officer for the agency and is responsible for providing technical guidance to the statewide ACJIS operator.
- Completes ACJIS reports for statewide volunteers, contracts and private prisons
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to statewide ACJIS operators and private prisons
- Oversight of general office duties performed by assigned subordinates to include, research and data compilation of reports and special projects
- Researches and responds to a wide variety of issues to include accurate tracking of projects and correspondence
- Researches and prepares position papers and comprehensive reports
- Responsible for submitting and completing the bureau’s billing and purchases through the appropriate software
- Completes quarterly fixes asset inventories
- Coordinates and facilitates meetings and calendar events
- Drives on state business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Pre-Employment Requirements:Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Retirement:Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
