Backend Software Engineer, XR communication system

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FORWe are looking for engineers who are passionate about commercializing and popularizing cutting-edge technologies under research.You are expected to have practical experience and in-depth knowledge of software development, and to think, design, and implement software with high performance and high quality together with your colleagues.You will report to the lead of the function. RESPONSIBILITIESYou will lead the backend software development and embodying the product together with your peers.・Define backend software specifications, design and implement it・Evaluable testable items, test the entire system and isolate problems・Team management of backend development team and improve the backend software (e.g. design and code review, technical support and education for members)・Collaboration with infrastructure team, cyber-security team, privacy team, and partnersバックエンドのソフトウェア開発をリードし、仲間とともに製品を具現化する。・バックエンドソフトウェアの仕様策定、設計および実装・試験項目の検討、システム全体の試験と問題の切り分け・バックエンド開発チームのマネジメントおよびバックエンドソフトウェアの品質向上（例：設計と実装のレビュー、チームメンバーへの技術的なサポートおよび教育）・基盤開発チーム、サイバーセキュリティチーム、プライバシーチーム、およびパートナー企業との協働

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of development experiences of backend engineering
• Proficient in Python or Go-lang, and synchronous / asynchronous communication protocols (e.g. REST API, gRPC, MQTT / AMQP)
• Comprehensive experience and knowledge for testing design / frameworks and implementation
• Experience of infrastructure configuration management (e.g. serverless architecture, container orchestration, kubernetes, IaC)
• Proficiency in business-level Japanese and commitment to improving English skills

• インフラストラクチャの構成設計・管理経験（例：サーバーレス・アーキテクチャー，コンテナオーケストレーション, IaC）
• 英語のスキル向上への意欲及びビジネスレベルの日本語能力

NICE TO HAVES:

• Technical leadership experience of backend (e.g. code review, architecture design review, technical problem solving and decision making)
• Experience of backend software development phases from requirement definitions to operations in commercial service
• Practical experience with automated testing and deployment (CI / CD)
• Experience of account authentication and authorization (e.g. Open ID Connect, OAuth, Keycloak)
• Experience and knowledge of cyber-security risk assessment (e.g. threat modeling) and privacy data management (e.g. consent management, GDPR)
• Proficiency in business level English
